Hans is currently responsible for Maersk’s Global Employer Brand and on a mission to match talent with a profound opportunity to go all the way, every day, to deliver a more connected, agile and sustainable future for global logistics. Prior to his existing engagement Hans was advising organisations and companies on their journey towards a more sustainable world of work. Through listening, advise and co-creation Hans ignites
authentic brand strategies that connect the dots as business objectives become more interconnected, digitally charged and dependant on talent.
With his background as an experienced leader and hands-on change agent within employer branding, digital and DEIB (Diversity. Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) he can relate to the multifaceted challenges that exits in an external environment that demands sustainable action and new ways of working. Prior to his work at Maersk and his role as independent advisor Hans established and headed the employer branding strategic advisory function of the global life science company Novo Nordisk. He was the chief architect and creative force behind
the build-up of the multi award winning employer brand ‘lifechanging careers’. Winning the RAD award for Best International Employer brand and increasing the momentum across regions throughout the pandemic highlights the impact, resilience andholistic nature of Hans’ work.
Prior to his adventures in employer branding Hans was the director of global talent attraction & digital acceleration and deeply instrumental in building the digital positioning and talent sourcing capabilities of Novo Nordisk. He has also been driving cultural change within the DEIB agenda as an internal consultant – an agenda he is deeply passionate about.
Hans holds an MSc. in Economics from Copenhagen Business School and University of Washington with a specialisation in Innovation and Business Development. He is an educated executive coach from Ashridge/Hult International Business School and has also earned a BSc. in Business Administration and Organisational Communication. In addition to these academic merits Hans is currently acquiring an executive master
in IT and digital transformation.
Hans is a member of the board of ‘Engineer The Future’. Engineer the Future is Denmark's technological alliance, consisting of companies, educational institutions and interest organisations created to inspire kids and young people to pursue education and careers within engineering, IT and science.
Besides travelling the world in person and now increasingly virtually Hans has lived and worked in the US, New Zealand, Switzerland and Denmark. Currently he is living with his wife and three children north of Copenhagen.
